Throttle Lamp

Here are a few of the different iterations of the 'Throttle Lamp' I've made. These ones are a lot of fun with the twist of the throttle mechanism actuating the light on/off.
BRAAAP on, BRAAAP off...
This is my favorite piece that I've designed and built.
Its been a while since I've made one. Gotta get back in the garage to build some more!

AMO Motocross Awards 2018

Here are this year's batch of special year end awards for the AMO motocross series here in Ontario, Canada. Rider of the year, Hard Charger and 2 Rising Star awards.
I always enjoy making these awards. It's a fun challenge to take a pile of parts and weld them together into something that looks cool while still functioning as an award/ trophy.
Congrats to the winning riders!

Revzilla Employee Years of Service Awards

I recently finished up my biggest job yet: 55 awards for Revzilla emplyoee's years of service.
Revzilla is a HUGE online motorcycle parts and accessories retailer based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Initial concept hand sketch

SolidWorks 3d CAD concept model

Revzilla initially contacted my over a year ago to inquire about making some moto themed awards for them. I think they actually found my work through Pinterest... We went back and forth with a couple ideas and at first I didn't get the job. They had another artist more local to them. As it turns out this artist wasn't reliable and they came back to me. This time around we tweaked the design a lot more as they had a better idea of what they wanted. I came up with a concept based around 1/2 of a motorcycle brake rotor and some add on year indicators to display the number of years of service. The year indicators were laser cut stainless steel. I had an idea to mount the year indicators using magnets to make it easy to add and move the indicators. I modeled up a concept in SolidWorks for initial verification then sent a sample to the office in Philadelphia.

2017 Flat Track Canada Awards

Here's the specialty awards I made for this year's Flat Track Canada banquet. The banquet was this past Saturday. The riders are always stoked for these and awards were well received. These are a lot of fun to make. They are all different and its a fun challenge to make something that looks good.

This one is my favorite from the batch...
